Blue Angelfish Holocanthus bermudensis
One of the more beautiful fish off the coast, the Blue angel can be seen as close in as the Dredge Wreck (14 miles). The farther offshore you go, the more frequent they become. The juvenile has a completely different color pattern from the adult. They are very similar to the Queen angel, which has a black spot centered in the blue crest on it head. Blue and Queen angels can hybridize, which is known as a Townsend Angel. Learn more about the Blue Angelfish on Fishbase.org
